The Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent Systems has been run by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics since 1989, when it began life as a modest symposium on information systems in office work. Nearly four decades on, it has grown into a regional meeting point for researchers working on the development and application of methods and techniques in information and intelligent systems.
This year's edition, the 37th, takes place in Varaždin from 16 to 18 September under the theme The Next Wave of Intelligent Systems. The programme brings together invited lectures by international experts, peer-reviewed papers across a dozen research sections, poster presentations, workshops and round tables, alongside a dedicated section where undergraduate and graduate students present work from their theses. Accepted papers go through double-blind review, and proceedings from 2013 onwards are indexed in Web of Science; selected contributions are invited for extension in JIOS and ComSIS.
